EXCLUSIVE: Is Peter Young of Independent Oil & Gas Britain’s greatest share trader or an insider dealer? You decide with Winnileaks

Peter Young was the co founder of Independent Oil & Gas (IOG) and until March of this year sat on its board. He is still its “head of Business Origination.” He, and his wife Fiona who works for charity Social Enterprise UK, are either the UK’s greatest living share traders or just plain insider dealers.  The stock in question is Rock Rose Energy (RRE) and I merely print a timeline of phone calls and emails and, as Peter Cook’s version of Judge Cantley in the Jeremy Thorpe trial would put it, “then invite you, ladies and gentlemen of the jury, to go away and consider carefully why these two fine upstanding individuals are not guilty of anything at all but should do themselves a favour and become professional day traders.”

Julie Meyer, Jeremy Thorpe (played by Hugh Grant), Max Mosley & Jonathan Aitken odd one out result

There were many varied answers to the Sunday Odd One Out contest HERE. I am not sure that there is any evidence that Hugh Grant uses sex toys, unless of course you count hookers in LA as sex toys. I am sure some answers are correct. However what I was looking for is that the odd one out is....

In a rare moment of honesty Tim Farron MP admits he is a liar

You have probably forgotten who Tim Farron is but as a reminder he is that annoying little twit who kept on reminding us all how working class (pronounced to rhyme with gas not, as would be more appropriate, arse) he was while leading the Lib Dems to their second worst result in eons. He is still an MP. Do you remember now?

The Celebrity Injunction - Its still standing, yeah, yeah, yeah

I write this on a website hosted in the US and as someone currently resident in Greece. I hope that the law firm Web Sheriff takes this on board as it seeks to enforce a celebrity injunction applicable to media outlets in England and Wales but nowhere else. The law is an ass.

The Nick Clegg Smear or non Smear: Who Dunnit?

The Daily Mail carries a piece today alleging that a key aide to deputy PM Nick Clegg personally intervened to get £12 million of taxpayers cash fast tracked to a charity ( BookTrust) of which Mr Clegg’s wife is a prominent supporter. Apparently emails have just emerged showing that while other charities must bid for Government cash, this one just got it. Hmmm.

The piece manages to find a rent-a-quote Tory and Labour MP to demand an enquiry. Oh, another one. An enquiry a day, hip hip hooray, more money to pay, what more can I say? Do politicians ever do anything in life apart from call for enquiries? Personally I do not see why taxpayer’s cash in Bankrupt Britain is handed to charities at all. Booktrust may do great work but it a fake charity. It is now an arm of Government. That to me is a scandal.

As for Cleggy I ask you one question:
